Wash and Peel Carrots

Put 2 cups of water into the instant pot and place in the carrot. Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 8-10 minutes for regular carrots or about 5 minutes for baby carrots. After the timer beeps do a quick-release of the pressure - be careful of the steam.
Step 3
Gently take out your steamed carrot and put them on a plate.Now Take the bowl from the instant pot (careful it is hot) and tip out the water - rinse and dry. Then put back into the instant pot.
Step 4
Turn the instant pot back onto saute and add in 1-2 tbsp unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon honey. Mix them well and then add back the carrots to the dish. Stir gently so that the honey glaze nicely covers the carrots. You can then season with salt and pepper. To make it look really shiny you could also drizzle about 1 teaspoon of olive oil over the carrots.We like to make the dish look extra nice- and to do that we finely dice some fresh parsley (could also be thyme)and sprinkle it over the top and that finishes of nicely the instant pot glazed carrot.
