Ingredients: ½ tablespoon vinegar; ⅓ cup milk, or as needed; 2 tablespoons dried parsley; 1 teaspoon dried dill; 1 teaspoon garlic powder; 1 teaspoon onion powder; ½ teaspoon dried basil; ½ teaspoon ground black pepper; ¼ teaspoon ground paprika; 5 fresh chives, finely chopped; salt to taste; 1 cup Greek yogurt

Made with Greek yogurt, it's zesty, creamy, and so much more wholesome and flavorful than store-bought ranch dressing.

Pour vinegar into a 1-cup liquid measure. Add enough milk to make 1/3 cup. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.n


Meanwhile, combine parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, pepper, paprika, chives, and salt in a small bowl. Mix in Greek yogurt. Gradually stir in buttermilk to thin out dressing.n


Tastes satisfyingly like a much fattier dressing than it is!  I made this just as written, and it was delicious.  Cutting this recipe in half made enough dressing for two large dinner salads.

I used some powdered buttermilk along with the regular milk mixture. I also didn't use all the milk mixture and it was a little running for me.

3.18.20  You just gotta love the nutritional breakdown on this.  The consistency with Greek yogurt works well enough, but it’s not as tangy as the bottled ranch dressing.  I had buttermilk in the fridge so I just used that instead of making my own with vinegar and milk.  This dressing’s a compromise, but it does taste good.  Thanks for sharing your recipe.

My wife and I use this as a base and made substantial adjustments to add flavor.

1/4 cup buttermilk. Use only until right consistency.

Blend 10 pickled jalapeno slices and 1/2 a roma tomato. Add near end.

Add 1 tsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar.

I thought this was delicious, though the next time I would halve the amount of parsley
