Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2

Brown the ground beef. Add in onion, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper and let it simmer an additional 3-5 minutes.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes and boil for five minutes to soften. Just boil in enough water to cover the potatoes. Chop potatoes to add into the pot pie.

Step 4

Drain excess grease from burger if needed.

Step 5

Add beef broth, milk, and flour to the ground beef. Stir in well.

Step 6

Add in the chopped potatoes and mixed vegetables and stir well.

Step 7

Let simmer on stove for 5 minutes.

Step 8

If using a cast iron skillet or oven safe skillet, you can go ahead and top with the biscuits . If needed, switch the filling into a baking pan and top with biscuits. Bake for 12- 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
