Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Place 1/4 cup maple syrup, 2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
Step 2
Melt 1 tablespoon unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 (8-ounce) ham steak and cook until golden-brown on both sides, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and repeat cooking the remaining ham steak.
Step 3
Nestle both ham steaks back in the pan. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the ham and cook, flipping halfway through, until the ham steaks are fully coated in the sticky glaze, 2 to 4 minutes total.
