Step 1

Grind oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, almonds, and dark chocolate in a blender until they have a flour like texture. I use and love my Blendtec blender.

Step 2

In a medium bowl or stand mixer, combine the wet and powdered ingredients. Mix well and then use a heaping 1 teaspoon measuring spoon to scoop out each serving and form into a ball. Forming the bites takes some time, so recruit older children, significant others, or roommates to help.

Step 3

Store uneaten bites in a sealed container in the refrigerator of up to a few weeks.
