Step 1

If using fresh strawberries, remove the green tops.

Step 2

Add the strawberries to a blender, then add the orange juice and lime juice.(If you're using fresh juice but don't have a citrus juicer, this is what I do: Cut the orange or lime in half. Set a small mesh sieve over a measuring glass, stab the cut side of the orange or lime with a fork, aim the cut side down over the sieve and squeeze and rotate the fruit while twisting the fork until you gouge out every last drop of juice.)

Step 3

Add the ice (if using fresh berries) or water (if using frozen) and blend! If your blender has an ice crush function, start with that whether you're using fresh or frozen berries. Then switch to a regular blend mode.If it seems to thick, add water about 1 tablespoon at a time. If it's too thin, add more berries.

Step 4

Pour into a glass and garnish with a strawberry, if desired.
