Export 10 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Have all your ingredients ready for the skillet. Washed and chopped mushrooms, fresh herbs, scallions, the cooked rice, olive oil and the ground beef.
Step 2
Cook the ground beef at medium-high in a large skillet with some olive oil, rosemary, black pepper and salt. Stir, breaking the ground meat in pieces and combining with the herbs as you go. Cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes. Take the lid off and allow the ground beef to brown a bit - simply stir occasionally for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add in the mushrooms, some more olive oil, the garlic and scallions, for 2-3 minutes stir occasionally.
Step 4
Reduce the heat to medium, stir in the cooked rice - about 2-3 more minutes.
Step 5
Lastly, add in the fresh herbs (cilantro, basil and oregano) and turn off the heat!
Step 6
Serve immediately. Store leftovers in airtight containers.
