This has been a favorite recipe in our house for a few years now. Easy prep and delicious results.  However, now that I live a low carb/sugar-free life, I've changed the recipe slightly. I leave out the potatoes, tapioca, and bread but add radishes, xantham gum, and less of the carrots. I also add mushrooms and green beans.  Still delicious and you won't miss the higher carbs!

Fantastic beef stew recipe. It was so easy I was worried about there not being enough flavor.  I was very wrong!  I followed the recipe except I used Hunt's basil, garlic, and oregano tomatoes and seared the beef first.  What a wonderfully tasty and simple dish!

Thank you for this recipe. It was very good. Because I had 16 oz. of mixed vegetables, I used them instead of the carrots and I diced the meat and potatoes, so everything would cook uniformly. This was so easy to make.  I used a can of golden mushroom soup instead of the water and added some beef stock also.  I would add less pepper next time but it was delicious.

This is an easy way to make stew--I don't even bother to peel the potatoes and they come out just fine. The meat is tender, the veggies all cooked just right. My husband and I both love it. I do cut down on the salt a bit and it still tastes great.

This recipe is awesome for busy parents.  Quick, easy, and delicious!  Love the big chunks, but if you don't want it that way, it is very easy to cut everything smaller after it bakes.  We plan to make this often in our house!

This was quick and easy.  I half-cooked the meat on the stove top, but then added all the cooking juices and meat to the stew.  Very good and made the house smell wonderful!

This is such an easy, delicious recipe!  I added two bay leaves and substituted beef broth for the water.  My college roommates and I loved it.

Delicious!  Great flavor.  My family likes more sauce with their stew.  I added a can of beef broth and one more tablespoon of instant tapioca.  I also browned the beef cubes first to give them a little more flavor.
