Juice your grapefruit. Combine rum, maraschino liqueur, simple syrup, and grapefruit juice, in a Boston shaker with a large cup of ice.

Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and double strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a lime wheel.
