Step 1
Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Cut the ends of the green banana. Peel the banana
Step 3
Mix turmeric and salt to a bowl of water and add the peeled banana and let it soak for around 5-10 minutes.

Pat the banana dry and slice it on a mandolin
Step 5
Coat it with a mixture of coconut oil and turmeric
Step 6
Place the sliced green bananas (in batches) inside the basket of the air fryer.
Step 7
Cook for about 10 minutes. If they need additional time leave on for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
Incase you notice that some of them are done, remove them and continue cooking the rest.
Step 9
Repeat step until all slices are cooked.

Sprinkle some salt if you like!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and place a single layer of plantains on the parchment paper.

Put the cookie sheet in oven for 16 to 20 minutes. Turn plantains after 8 minutes.
Step 14
Plantain chips are done when they start to brown around the edges. Remove from oven and serve.
