Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix the paprika, the dried thyme, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the salt, and the pepper together.

Scatter the onion and the garlic in a baking dish.

Place the butter in the center of the baking dish.

Bake until the onion and garlic are golden-brown, about 15 minutes. Check it after 12 minutes and give it a stir if it seems to be browning too much.
