Step 1

Place potatoes into 4-quart saucepan; add 1 teaspoon salt and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; continue cooking over medium heat 15-20 minutes or until fork tender; drain.

Serve hot topped with Butter Balls as desired.

Step 3

Combine potatoes and all ingredients except green onions, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper. Add green onions, remaining salt and pepper. Mash with potato masher until creamy and smooth. Top with Butter Balls, as desired, to serve.
