Pour beans (and the water from the can) in a blender of food processor and blend until smooth.

Step 2

Heat up oil or lard in frying pan.

Step 3

Fry the onions, green bell peppers, and garlic at low heat until softened

Step 4

Add the blended beans

Step 5

Stir in cumin

Step 6

Stir occasionally and simmer until reduced to your desired consistency it takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 7

Add salt to taste.

Step 8

Add some grated cheese to garnish if desired.
