Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a medium size bowl, whisk the flour, almond milk, garlic powder and salt together to make the batter. Dip each piece of cauliflower into the batter (let any excess batter dip off) then place on baking sheet (use 2 baking sheets if necessary). Place in oven for 22 minutes, flipping halfway.
Step 3
In a small saucepan, heat honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. In a bowl, mix together water and cornstarch then add to saucepan, whisking everything together. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally (sauce will start to thicken). Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken more after removing from heat.
Step 4
Once cauliflower is done, brush cauliflower pieces with honey garlic sauce. Place back in oven and broil for 2-3 minutes. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
Step 5
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve right away.
