Ingredients: 4 ounces cream cheese (softened); 1 cup mayonnaise; 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish; 1 teaspoon lemon zest; 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt; 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce; 3/4 cup cheddar cheese; 2 green onions (sliced); 2 tablespoons capers; 1 pound backfin or lump crab meat

Hot Crab Dip is cheesy and creamy and simple to make. Mayonnaise and cream cheese make up the base and horseradish and capers give it some zing. Serve with toasted baguette or pita chips for a delicious party appetizer.

Hot Crab Dip

cream cheese (softened)

mayonnaise

horseradish

lemon zest

garlic salt

hot sauce

cheddar cheese

green onions (sliced)

capers

backfin crab meat

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese and mayonnaise until completely combined.

Stir in horseradish, lemon zest, garlic salt, and hot sauce.

Fold in cheese, green onions, capers, and crab meat.

Transfer to a lightly greased casserole dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

when i made crab dip i just used  two containers of sour cream,cream cheese and two jars of horseradish and three cans  of crab meat and then a jar or two of mayonnaise.then mix together and refrigerate until you need it and i  use potato chips and veggie's with it
