Step 1
Rinse your green onions and trim the top and the roots off.
Step 2
Pat dry the green onions.
Step 3
Slice the green onions into rounds or angled cuts. Alternatively, cut the green onions the same length as your container if you want to use them unsliced.
Step 4
Transfer them to a freezer safe containers or small freezer bags and then freeze.
Step 5
After 2-3 hours, give the sliced green onions a stir in the container so that they’re loose and aren’t frozen in a large block. Return to the freezer until ready for use.
