Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add the matcha powder to a small flat-bottomed bowl. Gently swirl the matcha powder across the bottom of the bowl using the matcha whisk (this will reduce clumping).
Step 2
Pour in the hot water and whisk together using the matcha whisk in a W-shape until it’s smooth and foamy. (You can also use an electric hand whisk if you don't have a bamboo whisk). Pour the matcha into a cup.
Step 3
Froth the almond milk using a milk frother or an electric hand whisk, or warm the milk in a small saucepan. Pour the warm milk over the matcha to fill the cup. Optional to add agave to sweeten if desired. (A good quality matcha will not need sweetener as it won't be bitter, see blog post for details). Sip and enjoy!
