Step 1

In a food processor, chop up garlic, shallot, ginger and chili peppers (you can also just chop these up manually if you don't have one)

Step 2

Rinse mussels to remove any debris and cut out the little hairs (if any).

Step 3

In a pan on med/high heat, add avocado oil. Once it's hot, add the aromatics and stir fry for 30 secs - 1 min.

Step 4

Add mussels and the sauce and cook for 5 mins. Add green onions and cook for 1 min. Serve with rice or by itself.
