Step 1
Cut the root end off of each Brussels sprout and toss or compost those ends.
Step 2
Peel off any loose or broken leaves off of each sprout.
Step 3
Thinly slice each sprout into a few thin rounds. I usually aim for three cuts. An easy way is to cut in half lengthwise and cut each half into quarters. If you'd like thinner slices, cut from edge to edge as close as you can.
Step 4
Pull apart each slice and cut any larger chunks, if desired.
