Step 1
Grease a pie dish with a little shortening. Preheat the oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Heat your skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onions. Stir to break the beef up. Move around the pan until the beef is browned and the onions are softened.

Add the seasoning and the minced garlic, stir well.
Step 4
Remove from the heat, drain any liquid, and add the beef mixture to the bottom of your pie dish.
Step 5
Evenly cover the top of the beef with handfuls of the grated cheese.
Step 6
In a separate bowl, add the milk and eggs and whisk together. Once well incorporated, add the Bisquick and continue stirring until smooth and free of lumps. Pour over the top of the pie.
Step 7
Bake the pie in the oven for around 35 minutes, until the top turns golden brown and the center of the pie is firm.
Step 8
Serve in thick wedges with your choice of accompaniments.
