Step 1

Cut broccoli into chunks and steam in microwave or stove top until tender. Set aside.

Step 2

Add beef, oil, onion and garlic in the pressure cooker. Saute until meat is brown on all sides and onion is translucent.

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Add broth, soy sauce and brown sugar and mix well.

Step 5

Place the lid on the pressure cooker and seal shut. Close the pressure release valve. Set the instant pot to manual, high pressure for 10 minutes.

Step 6

When cooking is complete, quick release the steam and open the pot.

Step 7

Stir in broccoli and saute. When mixture begins to bubble, add the cornstarch slurry to thicken.

Step 8

Serve over white rice and top with sesame seeds.
