1 Set a programmable multicooker (such as an Instant Pot) to SAUTE

2 Let the pot heat for 2 minutes, then add the ghee or oil, onion and 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and saute until the onion begins to soften, 3 to 4 minutes

3 Season the beef all over with the remaining salt and the pepper

4 Working in batches, add the meat to the pot and cook, stirring occasionally, until evenly browned on all sides, about 2 minutes
