Step 1

Line and grease a 6-8" cake pan that can fit easily inside your instant pot.

Step 2

Place the trivet in your Instant Pot and add 1 cup water.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the water, yeast, salt and sugar. Let the yeast proof for about 3 minutes, then start adding in the flour.

Step 4

This is a no-knead recipe, so just mix the dough by hand until no dry patches appear.

Step 5

Fold the dough out into the prepared cake pan.

Step 6

Place the cake pan in the IP and place the lid on top (do not need to secure).

Step 7

Select the "keep warm setting" and let the dough rise for 2 hours. For a speedier rise, select the yogurt setting and allow to rise for 45 minutes with the lid on.

Step 8

After the dough has doubled, you can refrigerate or continue baking.

Step 9

Loosely cover the bread pan with aluminium foil and secure the Instant Pot lid. Select manual (or pressure cook for newer models) for 45 minutes.

Step 10

When timer is up, allow for a full natural release for 15 minutes. Manually release any remaining pressure after that.

Step 11

If desired, toast the bread under the broiler of your oven for 5 minutes to achieve a nice browned look.
