Step 1
Wash potatoes and cut into quarters.
Step 2
Pour water into the Instant Pot.
Step 3
Add the potato quarters to the pot.
Step 4
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Once the Instant Pot is done cooking, immediately turn the steam release handle to the venting position and do a quick release.
Step 6
Remove the lid and drain the liquid from the pot.
Step 7
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
Step 8
Add the milk, butter, salt, pepper, garlic puree and onion powder to the pot.
Step 9
Continue mashing until all of the ingredients are fully combined with the potatoes.
Step 10
Add the Parmesan and chives to the pot and stir well.
Step 11
