Step 1
Rinse and dry green beans, then trim off the ends.
Step 2
Place 1 cup water in the Instant Pot, then place the steamer rack in the Instant Pot.
Step 3
Place green beans on top of the steamer rack, then replace lid and move vent to SEALING.
Step 4
Cook on MANUAL, LOW PRESSURE for 0-2 minutes, depending how soft you like your green beans. For firmer green beans cook for 0, for softer green beans cook for (We usually cook ours for 1).
Step 5
QUICK RELEASE once the time has expired.
Step 6
Open lid carefully, then remove green beans from the instant pot and toss with melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
