Step 1
Chop cabbage, onion, red bell pepper, ham, and carrots (if using).
Step 2
Put cabbage, onion, and red bell pepper in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Add the chopped ham, carrots, and bay leaves, and sprinkle the Spike Seasoning, granulated garlic, dried parsley, Beau Monde Seasoning, and black pepper over the top.
Step 3
Mix the Goya Ham Flavor Concentrate or other ham flavor base into the chicken stock and pour the liquid over the ingredients in the Instant Pot.
Step 4
Lock the lid, set to MANUAL, HIGH PRESSURE, and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Let pressure NATURAL RELEASE for 10-15 minutes, then release manually.
Step 6
Serve hot, with freshly grated Parmesan to add at the table if desired.
