Step 1

Pour broth, soy sauce and Dijon into Instant Pot. Whisk.

Step 2

Add a trivet into the Instant Pot (I used the OXO Silicone Sling* and it worked perfectly).

Step 3

Add beef, pork, onion, garlic bread crumbs, egg, milk, kosher salt, pepper and olive oil into a medium bowl. Use clean hands to combine well.

Step 4

Form into small half ounce meatballs (about 1-2 tablespoons). I used a small cookie scooper to help. Roll the balls and place on top of the trivet. Most of the meatballs will be in one layer but some will have to be stacked on top.

Step 5

Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.

Step 6

Carefully remove the meatballs (I lifted up the sling and placed it on a plate).

Step 7

In a small bowl stir together the melted butter and flour with a whisk. Add in cream a little at a time and whisk well.

Step 8

Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. Add in the flour mixture a little at a time, whisking well. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until sauce is thickened and raw flour smell is gone. Turn off Instant Pot.

Step 9

Taste gravy and salt and pepper to taste. Stir the meatballs into the gravy. Serve meatballs and gravy with potatoes, rice or noodles.

Step 10

In a small bowl add the melted butter and whisk in the flour, one tablespoon at a time. Then whisk in a cup of the broth until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into the Instant Pot. Add in the remaining broth, soy sauce and Dijon. Whisk well.

Step 11

Add beef, pork, onion, garlic bread crumbs, egg, milk, kosher salt, pepper and olive oil into a medium bowl. Use clean hands to combine well.

Step 12

Form into small half ounce meatballs (about 1-2 tablespoons). I used a small cookie scooper to help. Roll the balls and place in the slow cooker.

Step 13

Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.

Step 14

Stir in the heavy cream. Taste gravy and salt and pepper to taste. Serve meatballs and gravy with potatoes, rice or noodles.
