Step 1
Collect pine cones in the woods, away from roads. The buds should be Mature green, about 3-4cm, resinous, soft. Cones are harvested from mid to late may (with buds collected in the Volga region).
Step 2
Fill the cones with cold water and leave for 5 hours. After 2.5 hours, change the water.
Step 3
Clean cones are put in the pot, fill with water and put on fire. After boiling add sugar and boil on a slow fire 30 minutes. Leave the jam overnight in a cool place.
Step 4
In the morning, put jam on the fire and cook after boiling for 30 minutes. And while the jam is cooking, sterilize jars.
Step 5
Ready jam put in sterilized jars and close.
