Step 1

To a small saucepan add granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and water. Stir together over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.

Once ingredients begin to boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat. Immediately transfer to a sealable heat-proof container.

Into a heat-proof cup or mug, pour espresso, followed by cinnamon dolce syrup.

Pour frothed hot milk over espresso-syrup mixture.

Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick, if desired.
