To CookBring water to boil in a kettle.Place eggs in the half-boiled eggs maker and gently pour boiling water to fill the container up to the ‘2 eggs’ marking. Water levels vary depending on the number of eggs you add into the container.The half-boiled eggs maker drips and drains the boiling water into the catchment below. This will take about 5 mins to make 2 half-boiled eggs. If using a saucepan, bring water to boil and remove from heat. Gently lower the eggs in to the saucepan and cover. Let the eggs cook for 5 mins before removing the eggs from the saucepan and letting cool slightly. Spread kaya over your slices of toast and place a thick layer of cut, chilled butter on top of the kaya. You can then top your slices of toast with another to make sandwiches or leave as they are. Furthermore, you can cut you toast into triangles or fingers to make eating easier.Serve the toast alongside the eggs and season with dark or light soy sauces and white pepper.
