Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 F.

Lay the chicken flat on a cutting board and place 1½ pieces of cheese with 1 piece of ham toward one edge of each piece. Season with salt and pepper. Roll the chicken tightly and use two toothpicks, one on each side, to hold it closed.
Step 3
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes until the internal temperature is 165 F.
Step 4
While the chicken is baking, cook the sauce in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Melt the butter, add broth, cream, and cream cheese. Mix until the cream cheese melts. Stir in the mustard, parsley, and garlic powder. Slowly add the Parmesan cheese, a few tablespoons at a time, stirring in between each addition. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 5
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving with a generous portion of sauce poured over the top.
