Wash and pat dry the whole chicken. Then rub the chicken with one tablespoon of olive oil.

After the chicken has cooked for the allotted time, check with an instant-read thermometer if the chicken is done. Place the thermometer in the thickest part of the chicken thigh. It should register for 160 degrees F when ready.
Step 8
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 weeks.
