Ingredients: 22.5 ml Dark Rum (0.75 oz); 22.5 ml Aperol (0.75 oz); 22.5 ml Montenegro Amaro (0.75 oz); 22.5 ml Fresh Lemon Juice (0.75 oz)

A simple variation on the modern classic, the Paper Plane. The cleverly named Lost Plane utilises a dark rum in place of the bourbon whiskey. The flavourful dark rum increases the richness of the vibrant, citrusy and subtly bitter cocktail.The Lost Plane was created by Emily Gosling of Gosling Brothers Limited (rum blenders and distributors) - the Bermudan company behind Goslings Black Seal Rum. I'd safely assume that the dark rum called for was originally Goslings.

Lost Plane Cocktail Recipe

22.5 ml Dark Rum (0.75 oz)

22.5 ml Aperol (0.75 oz)

22.5 ml Montenegro Amaro (0.75 oz)

22.5 ml Fresh Lemon Juice (0.75 oz)

Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker

Shake with ice

Strain into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass

Garnish with a twist of lemon
