Makeover Tater-Topped Casserole

(10-3/4 ounces) reduced-fat reduced-sodium condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted

(10-3/4 ounces) reduced-fat reduced-sodium condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted

milk

Tater Tots, thawed

Good!  Love the French fried onions.  I used cauliflower tator tots.

I used a pound of ground Turkey, added mushrooms and garlic to the meat. I used 1 1/2 cans of soup, with 3/4 cup of milk in a 7×11 casserole dish. After 30 minutes,  I added shredded cheese to the top, and baked another 10 minutes.  Delicious, I will make this again. Lots of ways to doctor it up!!!

My kids really loved this recipe and it was a great way to get their veggies in also.  It will become a regular recipe at our house.

This was a good! It lacked extra flavor. I added cheddar cheese on top of the soup and used celery instead of the mixed veggies. It was still delicious, but I would have liked a little more flavor.

I've made this about 20 times. Leftovers are just as good.

This recipe has become a favorite in my house.  I have also made it for friends that needed a meal.

This recipe is ok; there really isn't much flavor to it. Would not recommend.

I made this last night but halved the recipe in an 8x8 dish.  I used a pound of ground turkey (adding 1 Tbsp. of Kitchen Bouquet to color to look like ground beef, some dried minced onion, seasoning salt, black pepper and garlic powder) while the meat was browning.  I layered everything as specified in the recipe but used 1 can of condensed Cheddar cheese soup because I was out of the two in the recipe and so many reviewers added cheese.  Next time I would thin the soup a little more so that it would sink through the layers to the meat layer because that was a little dry.  I really liked the simplicity of the preparation and we both enjoyed the taste so I'll definitely make this one again.

Delicious! I added a tiny bit of cheddar cheese too. If you don't thaw the tots, it makes a great Freezer Recipe!

So easy and very good.  I agree some salt and pepper is definitely needed!  I used cream of mushroom soup in place of the cream of celery soup.

My family really likes this recipe.  It is filling which is important at my house.  I have made this 4 or 5 times since the recipe was published.

I made this for dinner last night and this recipe is a "keeper" .  I made a few changes:  I used all ground turkey instead of the ground beef and ground turkey combination and I used the regular condensed soups (not the reduced fat/sodium soups) and I used condensed cream of mushroom instead of the cream of celery (because that is what I had on hand).  When I make this again, I want to try adding shredded cheese as well as some sauteed mushrooms.  This is a delicious and easy to prepare meal ..... we have plenty of left overs as well .....  five stars for sure!

This was casserole was delicious comfort food and so easy to make. I probably would just add some salt and pepper to the meat for a little extra seasoning.

I like to cook healthy and usually stay away from casseroles with creamy soups, but this was great for a change of pace and you can't beat the nutrition, using lower-fat soups! Great comfort food, reminded me of my childhood.

My husband loves this! Makes plenty! I don't use the reduced-fat soups but that's OK. I also like to sprinkle some shredded cheddar on the top & let it melt the last few minutes it cooks. :)
