Step 1

Coat the baking pans with a layer of cooking spray and then follow it up with parchment paper lining.

Step 2

Now add the gelatin and ½ cup of cold water to a small bowl, whisk them together, and then leave it for five minutes to dissolve the crystals.

Step 3

Place a saucepan on a burner and add the sugar and ¾ cup of water to it, mixing and cooking the ingredients until the liquid reaches a boil.

Step 4

Once the liquid is boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat, and pour its contents into a glass measuring cup.

Step 5

Pour half of the mixture into one saucepan and the other half into another, placing the cold one on the slowly cooling burner for a little extra heat.

Step 6

Add half of the gelatin mixture to each saucepan and whisk the ingredients together until the crystals dissolve completely.

Step 7

Pour half of the cannabis oil into each batch of liquid homemade candy, and give them both another stir.

Step 8

Put a few drops of red food colouring into one saucepan and a few drops of green in the other.

Step 9

Use the whisk to incorporate the freshly added colour in one batch, and when you’re done, rinse it off to remove all of the food colourings so that it won’t taint your second mixture.

Step 10

Take the clean whisk and stir the second colour into the mixture.

Step 11

Pour each of the gumdrop liquids into one of the separately prepared pans, and then put them in the fridge overnight to harden.

Step 12

The next morning, you’ll need a large clean surface that is coated with sugar to flip the sheets of gumdrop out of the pans, as it will keep them from sticking.

Step 13

Use cookie cutters or a sharp knife to cut the gumdrops into shapes.

Step 14

Toss all of the gumdrops into a large bowl with the granulated sugar, spin it all in circles until every piece is coated.
