Preheat oven to 425°F.

Arrange salmon skin side down on a greased or foil lined baking pan. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake 12-15 minutes, until salmon is flaky.

While salmon is baking, combine maple syrup, mustard, butter, salt, pepper and cayenne in small pan. Bring to low boil and simmer until thickened. Add pecans and cook 3-4 more minutes.
Step 4
Spoon maple syrup mixture onto salmon pieces. Serve and enjoy.
