Preheat: 30 minutes prior to baking, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

It is critical here not to overmix. In fact, the dough should look shaggy. Hand mix in the chocolate chips and marshmallows in the batter.
Step 4
Scoop and Bake: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Using a cookie scooper, scoop cookie dough onto the mat. Space cookies 2 inches apart. Bake the cookies for 12 - 14 minutes. Cookies should be golden brown when done. There might be some caramelization from the brown sugar.
