Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F degrees.

Step 2

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 3

Unroll dough and separate into 12 breadsticks.

Step 4

Thread one end of a breadstick on a skewer; add one meatball then thread the dough around the meatball.

Step 5

Repeat threading with breadstick and 2 additional meatballs.

Step 6

Place about one inch apart on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining breadsticks and meatballs.

Step 7

Bake for about 20 minutes.

Step 8

Meatballs should be cooked through and the breadsticks a nice light, golden brown.

Step 9

You may need to rotate the trays halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Step 10

Once finished, take out pans and sprinkle the meatballs with mozzarella cheese and top that off with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.

Step 11

Put the meatballs back into the oven for another 3-4 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Step 12

Serve with warm marinara sauce. Optional: Garnish with sliced green onions or fresh choped parsley
