Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, approximately 2-3 inches each. In a mixing bowl, coat the chicken uniformly with the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

If using mozzarella sticks, cut them into smaller pieces, or measure out one cup of shredded mozzarella. Ensure the cheese is at room temperature to melt smoothly.

Take a piece of seasoned chicken and press a mozzarella piece inside it. Gently wrap the chicken around the cheese, ensuring it is fully enclosed, helping trap the gooey center.

In a shallow dish, combine plain or Italian-style breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese. Roll each chicken bomb through the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere for an even, crisp outer layer.

Brush each bomb lightly with melted butter or olive oil. This will encourage a beautiful golden-brown color during baking, adding aroma and richness.

Arrange the chicken bombs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow even cooking. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and breadcrumbs are golden.
