Step 1
Prepare a medium-hot fire in a grill.
Step 2
Divide the burger blend into 4 portions, each 6 oz. Using a double patty press according to the manufacturer’s instructions, form 4 patties. Sprinkle the patties on each side with 1/4 tsp. of the rib rub.
Step 3
Place the burgers on the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the burgers over and cook for 4 minutes more for medium, or until done to your liking.
Step 4
Meanwhile, place the buns, cut sides down, on the grill and toast for about 1 minute.
Step 5
Place a burger on the bottom half of each bun. Top with pickle and onion slices and drizzle with barbecue sauce. Cover each with the top half of a bun. Serve immediately with more sauce on the side. Serves 4.
