In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

Add onions and cook until softened (about 5-8 minutes).

Add garlic and cook 30 more seconds.

Add rice, stirring often, until lightly browned (3-4 minutes)

Add broth, tomatoes, cumin, and salt.
