Ingredients: 2 flour tortillas; ½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Quesadillas are a favorite with my family. With 3 grandkids away at college, this is an easy and economical recipe that they can make at their dorms. You can swap corn tortillas for the flour tortillas and any cheese that you like.

Microwave Quesadilla

Cheddar cheese

Place one tortilla on a microwave-safe plate. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese all over the tortilla. Top with second tortilla. Microwave until cheese is melted, 30 to 45 seconds.

MEH,the whole point of eating a quesadilla is the nice crunchy flour tortilla,they remind me of crunchy flour tacos my mom use to make when we had tacos,she'd also fry up some corn tortillas too but I always preferred the flour.;-)Making them in the microwave creates a tough &amp; chewy tortilla ...... YUCK!

Added Hot &amp; Sweet Chili Jam ( from Trader Joe’s) to one side of tortilla before microwaving .  Then prepared a Mild Salsa Verde for dipping.  Addictive!
