Step 1
Roast the moong dal in a pan with slight oil till it turns golden brown. Soak the dal for 3-4 hrs in water.
Step 2
Next put the soaked dal in cooker and boil for 10 mins with very less water just enough to boil.
Step 3
Take a pan and heat ghee. Pour the boiled dal and roast till the mixture starts leaving ghee.
Step 4
Add the sliced dry fruits and sugar to the roasted dal and dry the mixture as in normal halwa. Serve Hot.
