Morning Orange Drink

(6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate

water

milk

sugar

vanilla extract

ice cubes

We call this Morir soñando, it&#039;s been around for decades. The secret is put your orange juice in plenty of ice to bring down the temperature as much as you can , then add the milk stirring constantly as not to curd the milk. Oh, nothing better than freshly squeezed tangy orange juice.

My family loved this. It was very easy to make. I would say it yields more like 4 servings than 6 though.

Absolutely love this drink and I don&#039;t have to drive to the mall to get one :D

The original Orange Julius had an egg in it. And that&#039;s the way we always made ours when my kids were growing up. It&#039;s more nutritious than without the egg. I know they removed it because of salmonella issues but we lived on a farm and had fresh eggs daily and it wasn&#039;t a problem for us.

To improve this recipe, omit the water altogether.  Reduce the sugar to 1/4 cup powdered sugar, which doesn&#039;t leave it grainy.  Then I give it 5 stars!

Mu husband went bananas. II thought it was a bit too sweet, but still delicious and served at breakfast,,

This drink was okay. I think I would reduce the sugar next time and maybe omit the water for more milk. It tasted good but separated quickly.

So glad I finally got around to making this.  It is absolutely delicious!!  Used a 1/4 cup of sugar.  My overnite guests will be so impressed.

I made this today as part of our ' big breakfast diet'- we eat most our days carbs and sweets in the morning having protein and veggies at dinner.It was super sweet, not in a good way. Next time I'll cut way back on the added sugar. But it was good and I will be making this drink again
