Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork if using, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Mix gently until well combined.

Form the mixture into a loaf and place on the prepared baking sheet or in the loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

While the meatloaf bakes, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the mushrooms until golden, about 5-6 minutes. Add butter and additional Worcestershire sauce, cooking for 2 more minutes.
Step 5
After baking, top the meatloaf with Swiss cheese slices and the sautéed mushrooms. Return to the oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese melts.
Step 6
Remove the meatloaf from the oven, let it rest a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
