Step 1
Place onions, basil leaves, garlic and salt in mixing bowl then mix 5 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula. Mix again 5 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
Step 2
Add 40 g oil and sauté 10 min/90°C/speed 2.
Step 3
Add tomato purée, tomatoes, and remaining 40 g oil then cook 40 min/90°C/speed 2. Serve immediately.
