Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheet.
Step 2
Cream softened butter and vanilla. Sift flour, sugar and salt together and add to butter mixture. Mix well. Add nuts and mix again.
Step 3
Shape into 1/2" balls. Bake for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned on bottom. Roll cooled cookies in confectioner's sugar.
