Name: Nutella&reg; Crescent Rolls

Ingredients: cooking spray; 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls; ¼ cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)

Crescent rolls by themselves are quite tasty, but the addition of Nutella&reg; boosts the average crescent to a level of a foodie frenzy.

Nutella&reg; Crescent Rolls

(8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls

chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil sprayed with nonstick spray.


Roll out and separate crescent dough on a work surface. Place chocolate-hazelnut spread in a small resealable bag and snip off one corner. Use a zig-zag motion to pipe chocolate-hazelnut spread onto each crescent. Roll up, starting at the larger edge. Place on the prepared baking sheet.


Bake in the preheated oven until puffed up and lightly browned, about 14 minutes. Serve immediately.


I’m just going to say it....refrigerated cresent rolls and I do not get along.  I’ve tried LOTS of recipes with them and they just leave me disappointed.  I have one “go to” recipe that is a sweet recipe using them and now dare I say, I have 2!! This was a nice treat.  Super easy and it baked up while  we were eating dinner.  I didn’t get fancy with the piping bag.  I rolled out the dough and separated the triangles and used a spoon to smooth the Nutella on.  It was about 1 tsp for each.  I think the. 1/4 C ratio is perfect.  We tried them hot out of the oven, room temp and cold.  We liked room temp and cold the best.  This was so easy and super good!!  (I’m told I have to add marshmallows to them next time. )

Incredible concept but all of my filling ran out...have to try to seal edges next time.

I used more Nutella filling. I have made this a handful of times. I am not a “sweets” person but I liked the sweet/savory (buttery croissant) this delivers. Plus! Add some mini-marshmallows ~ reminds me of summer/fourth of July! Easy and easy to impress recipe!! Thanks!!

Quick, easy and awesome!  I just spread the Nutella on the dough, rolled them up, and baked them.  Could not be easier.  Everyone loves them.  These are awesome!  If you use a lot of filling you may want to press edges to seal before baking.  Delicious!  Thanks for sharing.

Recipe was a perfect snack for the children, it was simple, easy and tasty. I used the spoon method with the Nutella, which was easier and faster.
