Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, add together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix.

Add in the milk, eggs, melted coconut oil or butter, and vanilla extract. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Step 4
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
Step 5
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove and allow to slightly cool. Cut and serve warm in bowls (they don't really hold form as bars too well and are meant to be eaten in bowls). If desired, pour some milk over the bars in the bowl -- so good!
