Remove from heat, add vanilla, and butter. Whisk until uniformly incorporated.
Step 10
In a large casserole dish or see-through trifle bowl, layer the wafers, pudding, sliced bananas then whipped cream.
Step 11
Repeat layers until you use everything up, ending with the whipped cream.
Step 12
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
